Request deletion without the app
Email a Swotty account deletion request
Send from your account email, or include that email so support can verify account control. You do not need to reinstall Swotty or sign in to this website. If no email app opens, send the request directly to support@eggheadlabs.co.za with the subject “Swotty account deletion request”. Do not send a password, sign-in code, identity document or study files.
Mailbox delivery and the request-handling process must be verified before publication.
What happens next
Support must verify control of the account before erasing it, for example by a reply from the account email. The operator will confirm completion or explain a lawful retention exception. The response deadline and escalation process await counsel approval; no automated deletion or delivery guarantee is claimed by this mail link.
What is deleted and what remains
Account deletion revokes sessions and removes account-owned cloud records and uploaded documents, private progress and links, queued AI, private cached answers, account ledger data and raw signals. Already anonymized aggregates can remain. Minimal erasure/fraud records prevent old backups or purchases from resurrecting a deleted account; their retention and backup expiry must be confirmed before publication. Ordinary private records have a 90-day inactivity window; eligible paid files/state remain during paid access plus 90 days, unless deleted sooner. See Privacy for the draft retention detail.
Local study files remain on your phone until you remove them. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel renewal separately in your store's subscription settings.
If you still have the app
Open Account and choose Delete account, then confirm cloud erasure. Download your account data before deletion if needed. You can also find this request page in Settings even without signing in.
